Qutang Gorge, namely Kui Gorge, is the No. 1 gorge of the Yangtze River. Though only 8 km (5 miles) long from the White Emperor City in Fengjie County to the Daxi Town in Wushan County, it is the most spectacular gorge among the three gorges of the Yangtze River.

Located on the border of Sichuan and Hubei Provinces, Wu Gorge totals 46 km (28.6 miles) from the Daning River in the east of Wushan County of Sichuan Province to Guandukou in Badong County of Hubei Province. It is famous for the beautiful scenery of the stream, cliffs as well as the cloud and fog.

Stretching for 76 km (47 miles) form Xiangxikou to Nanjintuan in Yinchang, Hubei Province, Xiling Gorge is the longest gorges among the three gorges of Yangtze River, along with the Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge.

Located in Hubei Province, Shennong Stream is one branch of the Yangtze River. It rises in the Shennong Mountain and flows from south 60 km (37.3 miles) to the north and mingles into the Yangtze River 2,000 m east of Wu Gorge.

Fengdu Ghost City is actually Fengdu County in the center of Chongqing City. Established in the Eastern Han Dynasty (25 - 220), Fengdu County is the legendary ghost city and famous for the culture of Confucian, Taoism and Buddhism.

 Located in Fengdu County, Chongqing, Snow Jade Cave is a Karst Cave famous for variety shapes of snow white stalactites and stalagmites. In the scenic area, there are also many rare animals like macaques, wild boars and golden pheasants.

Stretching for about 50 km (31 miles), Three Little Gorges comprise the Longmen Gorge, Bawu Gorge and Dicui Gorge. They are famous for the beautiful scenery of green rivers, steep cliffs, unique stones and vast of plants and animals.

Three Gorges Dam is located in the mid section of Xiling Gorge in Hubei Province, about 38 km (23.6 miles) from the Gezhouba Irrigation Project. It is the largest irrigation project in the world. Apart from the gigantic dam, there are also attractive scenic spot in the area, such as the Tanziling Ridge, the lakes and islands as well as the Exhibition Hall of Three Gorges Project.

Tanziling Ridge (the Ridge of Crock) was named after the up-side-down crock-shaped sighting platform in it. Located at the surveying point of the Three Gorges Dam, it is the best site to enjoy the panoramic Three Gorges Dam.
