Tianjin

Tianjin is located in the center of the Gulf of Bohai Economic Region, 137 km (85 miles) northwest of Beijing. Except for its important economic role as the economic center of Northern China and the No. 3 port for foreign trade in China, Tianjin is also a famous tourism city. There is the famous Ancient Cultural Street, in which there are many hundred-year old shops and buildings, especially for the Tianhou Temple, built in the Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368), which is one of the three Mazu Temples in the world, along with the two in Macau and Taiwan. There is also a Nanshi Food Street, in which you will find many traditional Tianjin snacks like Go Believe Steamed Stuffed Bun, Shibajie Fried Dough Twist, and Erduoyan Fried Glutinous Rice Cake.
