Shaanxi History Museum

Located at the northwest side of Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Shaanxi History Museum is regarded as 'the pearl of Xian and the treasure house of China'. Taking up an area of 65,000 square meters (16 acres), the museum houses more than 370,000 historical relics from the Pre-history Period until the end of the Feudal Society, such as Yu Ding (an ancient cooking vessel) of the Western Zhou Dynasty (11 Century BC - 771 BC), Yangshou Spoon of the Shang Dynasty (17 - 11 Century BC), and Shangfang Bronze Mirror of the Western Han Dynasty (206 BC - 24 AD).
