Guanlin Temple

Located in Guanlin Town, Guanlin Temple is 7 kilometers (4 miles) south of Luoyang City, nestling against the Sui Tang Ancient City in the north, and facing Longmen Grottoes in the south. It is the tomb area of Guanyu, God of Martial Arts in China, originally built in the Han Dynasty (206 BC - 220) and rebuilt in the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644). It covers an area of 180 mu 30 acres), with existent over 150 temple halls in the Ming and Qing (1644 - 1911) Dynasties.
