Located in the center of Yangshuo County, Yangshuo West Street is a 1,400-year-old street built in the style of the Ming (1368 - 1644) and Qing (1644 - 1911) Dynasties. Many foreigners fall in love with it when they come to Yangshuo West Street, so they settle down and open small stores, bars and restaurants here, thus the street is also called 'Foreigners' Street' or 'International Street'. On the street, you can see restaurants selling traditional Yangshuo foods as well as the authentic Italian coffee shops; most of the signs of the stores are bilingual; the waiters, salesgirls, shop owners and the old ladies who sell fruits can speak fluent English.
