Located in the center of Beijing City, Beihai Park is one of the best-preserved imperial gardens in China. It is also the oldest existing imperial garden in China, with a history of almost one thousand years. Beihai Park covers an area of 69 hectares, of which 39 hectares are water. The park comprises the Qionghua Island, Eastern Lakeside and Northern Lakeside, where there are both historical spots and natural sites such as Puan Hall, Ming and Qing Dynasties' buildings, lakes, mountains and all kinds of plants.
