Tibet Museum is located at No. 19, Norbulingka Road in Lhasa City. It was opened to the public in 1999. In the three-storey exhibition building, there are many cultural relics and handicrafts which reflect the unique Tibetan culture and history, such as the Buddha Statues, the Tibetan language books written with gold powder, silver powder and coral powder, Tibetan scroll paintings (Tangka), all kinds of musical instruments, and Buddhist instruments.
