- Pit No.3 of Terracotta Warriors
-
Pit No.3 takes up an area of 520 square meters (622 square yards), where excavated 68 terracotta warriors, 1 chariot, and 34 weapons. Different from Pit No.1 and No.2, it was built according to layout of the ancient military commanding center, divided into three units - the wing rooms in the south and north, and horse and chariots rooms in the middle. Thus, scientists believe it may be the military commanding center of the huge underground army.
