Pit No. 1 is the main body of the huge underground army, made up of chariots and infantry. In the east of the pit are three rows of vanguard with standoff weapons like bows and arrows. Behind them are the main part of the troop made up of 6,000 infantry in armour holding long weapons and 35 chariots. In the north and south side are two rows of guards. All of the warriors have different hair styles and facial expressions, which are very vivid.
