Located at the North Jiefang Road, central Guangzhou City, Yuexiu Park is the largest diversified cultural park in Guangzhou City. It was built in 1952, and named after the major scenic spot - Yuexiu Hill. Covering an area of 860,000 square meters (212.5 acres), the park comprises three lakes, seven hills and many other cultural relics, including the Zhenhai Tower, the City Wall of the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644), Sifang Battery, the Memorial Tower of Sun Yat-sen, and the Statue of Five Rams.
