Built in 1929, Guangzhou Museum, a local historical comprehensive museum, is located at the Zhenhai Building on the Yuexiu Hill. There is a total of over 60, 000 pieces (sets) collections in it at present, including bronze wares, ceramics, paintings, books, jade articles, lacquers, silk textiles, national and foreign crafts. Among them, there are some national treasures, such as 'Luan Shu Fou' (weighing equipment of the Spring and Autumn Period) and pottery boat unearthed from the Tombs of the Eastern Han Dynasty (25-220).
