Lies in Gubeikou Ancient Town of Miyun County, some 120 kilometers (74.6 miles) from downtown Beijing, Gubeikou is one of the most important passes of the Great Wall in China. The present wall in Gubeikou was mainly built in the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644). Except for the walls on Panlongshan Mountain and Wohushan Mountain, there are many other scenic spots, including Gubeikou Ancient Town, Wanshou Imperial Palace and Xigou Forest Farm.
