Beijing Financial Street is located to the east side of North 2nd Ring Road. It is 1,700 meters (1,859 yards) long, covering an area of 103 hectares. Covered with huge mansions and modern skyscrapers, the Financial Street has become an important financial center of China. Many financial departments are situated on the street, such as Bank of China, China Banking Regulatory Commission, China Securities Regulatory Commission and China Insurance Regulatory Commission.
