Located at the center of the old Tunxi City, Tunxi Ancient Street is a pedestrian street made up of well-preserved architectures in the style of the Song (960-1279), Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) Dynasties. It starts from the Zhenhai Bridge in the west, and ends at the memorial arch in the east, with a total length of 1,273 meters (1,392 yards). All of the buildings on the street are elegant with classic simplicity, built with green tiles, white walls, and decorated with finely carved patterns.
